The Shirley Scarecrow Festival is a fun event all can take part in. The theme is TV Shows. See if you can guess which shows and TV characters you can spot on your walk.

Can we please remind you all to make sure your doors, windows and cars are left locked and secure when you are not in them.
Just today we were sent video footage of two incidents overnight which involved people trying car doors. Luckily they were locked but this is not always the case.
As the evenings are now darker much earlier, please consider using timers for lights and lamps inside your house as a dark house is often obvious as an empty one. If we can see that you are out, so can burglars.
Please stay safe during this lockdown.

You can only meet one person from outside your household outdoors.
There will be no mixing of people inside homes, except for childcare and other forms of support. Support bubbles will be allowed to continue.
All pubs and restaurants are to close, though takeaways and deliveries will be permitted.
All non-essential retail will close, though click and collect will still be available.
Travel within the UK is discouraged, except for work.
Overnight stays away from home will be allowed only for work purposes.
Courts, schools, and universities will remain open.
Private prayer will continue in places of worship, but not services.
